I would highly recommend this class for Minecraft learners. Although a flex design, Ms. Julie was really engaging as a teacher by sending high-energy daily videos and providing frequent feedback. The build challenges were varied and encouraged my son's creativity and engineering skills. As parents, we try to be careful with too much screen time if we are not sure what our kids are doing, but we were very happy with how purposeful and productive the daily hour was for us. We hope to continue doing more classes!!!

My son started taking this class as a way to give him some socialization during the pandemic, but we've stuck with it for YEARS now because he enjoys it so much! He looks forward to class every week, and Ms Julie is an incredible teacher. She always has interesting Lego facts ready to discuss, and she has a real gift for keeping the kids engaged and interacting with each other. Highly recommend this or her other classes!

My child absolutely loved this class, and I did too. This was the best FLEX class he has done—content, learning objectives, activities, and structure. It was chunked beautifully—in other FLEX classes he has struggled to stay on track or has been waiting around for the next part and then been overwhelmed by how much he needed to do. He was always excited for a new video and was very willing to end a PVP Minecraft game to go do the videos and projects in the class. He is very anxious and will not do live classes, but he loved the interactions Teacher Julie facilitated in the class. He really wants a part 2, but for now I’ve put him in another of Teacher Julie’s class.
